Reward earns Great Place To Work® Certification™ as Purpose and Equity Shape Company Culture
  • Recognition underpinned by gender pay parity and above-benchmark representation of women in leadership and technology roles

  • Achievement follows milestone of $2 billion given back to customers in rewards and $10 million enabled in charitable donations

  • Reward’s people-first culture has supported career development and business growth across offices in London, Belfast and Dubai

London, UK, 15th January – Reward has been Certified™ by Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership. The recognition is based on confidential feedback from employees across Reward’s teams in London, Belfast and Dubai, providing an independent measure of how people experience the company’s culture.

The certification reflects Reward’s continued focus on building a culture grounded in trust, purpose, inclusion and collaboration, with people at its core.

Jamie Samaha, CEO of Reward, comments; “Being recognised as a Great Place to Work® is particularly meaningful because it's judged by our people. We've been focused on creating an environment where people can do their best work and be their best selves, supporting them on both a professional and personal journey.”

Kathryn Curtis, Chief People Officer at Reward, added; “Our culture is shaped by our people rather than policies. This accreditation reinforces that employees feel heard, supported, and able to bring their whole selves to work. We remain focused on creating an inclusive environment where everyone can grow and thrive.”

A culture shaped by people and purpose

Since its advent, Reward has been committed to building a people-first culture grounded in clear purpose and values – a commitment instilled by Reward founder Gavin Dein and carried forward across the organisation. At the heart of that purpose is an ambition to give back to customers through meaningful rewards, while creating a workplace where people can develop and succeed.

That focus on purpose has enabled Reward to deliver impact at scale. To date, the company has given back over $2 billion in rewards to consumers on behalf of its retail and banking partners, contributing to more than £120 billion in consumer spend across the UK economy. Through customer-led cashback donations, Reward has also enabled over $10 million in charitable giving.

Investing in a progressive and equitable workplace

Reward’s culture is underpinned by a strong commitment to equity, inclusion and opportunity. The company has achieved gender pay parity and now over-indexes on women in leadership roles (43% vs. 35% industry average), with 39% of its technology teams made up of women, compared with a 29% industry benchmark.

Beyond the numbers, Reward continues to advance gender inclusion through its Women in Tech community, which plays an active role in championing equity and shaping inclusive practices across the organisation.

Culture driving innovation and growth

Reward’s people-led culture has supported a period of sustained innovation and growth. Over the past 18 months, the company has expanded into new markets, including the opening of an office in Dubai, launched new products such as its Intelligence Suite, and completed its first acquisition, welcoming HDI into the Reward Group.
